Missions Week
This booklet was created to celebrate the Lord’s provision this year and to challenge you to join our mission journey.
From Tampa to the world.
We pray that every member of our church family grows deeper in their commitment to live their lives on mission.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:19–20
Perhaps the most important way to grow in your commitment to live on mission is through prayer.
For God to be glorified through the worship of each and every person who bears His image.
For the saving knowledge of Jesus to be made known where it is unknown.
For God to raise up pastors, church planters, and missionaries from within our congregation to this great task.
For every member to be on mission where they live, work, and play.
Every year, our church produces a prayer calendar to guide you in praying for outreach activities, short-term mission trips, missionary partners, and church plant initiatives. We also regularly post prayer prompts on social media and the Idlewild app.
Pray with usGrowing in your commitment to live on mission is characterized in part by generously providing for the mission.
of every dollar given to Idlewild goes to support the mission activity of the church.
Beyond general giving (GG) through tithes and offerings, Idlewild has a designated fund called Idlewild on Mission (IOM). Every dollar contributed to Idlewild on Mission goes directly to the outreach initiatives of the church. Your generosity strategically supports local and international mission trips, international ministries, and the equipping of missionaries and pastors.

These monthly meetings allow you to explore your calling by asking questions, praying for the lost, and hearing from those who are sent to serve.
Annual 40-week training for those called to pastoral or missional ministry, offered in two cohorts for those who want to be equipped.
We’ll walk alongside and assist you as you engage in your ministry role — working on a church staff, planting a church, or serving as a missionary.
Idlewild has been blessed to work with committed and faithful partners around the globe.
Every great movement begins with faithful people saying yes. For Idlewild, that yes has been spoken for years, in prayer, in generous giving, and in teams who went to share the hope of Jesus. Today, we support more than sixty missionaries and organizations, all sharing one aim: that people everywhere would hear the gospel and come to know Christ.
Thirty-two international missionary partners and over a dozen local missionaries are people we pray for and support year after year. Teams from Idlewild have traveled to 18 destinations to share the gospel, lead children’s outreach, teach English, and stand beside them.
Our partnerships reach 23 countries, cities, and regions. Through the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board, we help sustain nearly 3,600 missionaries worldwide and nearly 3,300 across the United States. Through Wycliffe Bible Translators, the New Testament is being translated into twelve languages in Central Asia.
Trust grows over time, and so does the harvest.

A new chapter of gospel partnership is unfolding.
In 2026, Idlewild began two new strategic partnerships, in Kuala Lumpur and London. More than a mission trip, each is a long-term commitment to work alongside a field partner, sending members to make Christ known in short-term, mid-term, and, Lord willing, long-term service. Eight trips are already planned, and like our established partnerships, these will grow into something that lasts.
The partnerships are new. The mission is the same.
Put your “yes” on the table and let God put it on the map.
The 10/40 Window spans 60 to 70 countries across North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. It is home to nearly two-thirds of the world’s people, and many of its communities have little or no access to the gospel. Through mission teams, missionary support, and strategic partnerships, Idlewild Missions is committed to sharing the hope of Christ throughout the Window.
The report is the celebration. This is the invitation.
